Wegovy Log
Did the second injection yesterday (ie, Friday). Some updates.
I'm definitely still experiencing nausea after the injection, it's still not severe but it's been present all day. So that's still a thing. Not sure whether it'll decrease with time or not; it does fade within a couple days of the injection, but I don't know if you adjust at all over time. I've had some non-binge days and I do feel like when binging, I hit the like, "eating more feels bad" point faster. And I did feel less hunger overall, like normally after binging at night by the next day I'm hungry as normal again, but now it's taking longer to be hungry again, so like, I think maybe my hunger is more like, logically related to the actual calories consumed? I have to see how things go this second week, like, whether I have improvements in eating more stably and consistently. I do have some optimism, although this hasn't been an instant fix it is clearly having an effect.
I had some mild irritation immediately after the injection unlike the first one, and I think it's because for the first one I was just standing up and walking around, where as this one I sat down. And I think my shirt was thus rubbing against the injection site and irritating it, because once I pulled my shirt up a bit it didn't hurt. It faded within an hour or so. I guess it's to be expected that the site of a needle injection might be sensitive, but I gotta say, it genuinely doesn't hurt during injection. So that's nice at least.
I gotta say I'm definitely feeling less nauseous now compared to when I woke up, so like, fading by the end of the day after injection isn't bad. Also as a side note, the nausea is like, not the kind of nausea where it's a sharp pain or like you're going to vomit, it's specifically more like being gassy. No idea why, but like, it's a very particular variety of nausea.
Welp...starting off the second week of this stuff, so, here's hoping for good results this week. My main goal with this stuff is to have better control over my eating so I can avoid binging.
